Fellowship Call To Action!

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25, NIV)

Fellowship Anthem

Rise up o men of God” A&M 418

Rise up O Men of God
Have done with lesser things
Give heart and soul and mind and strength
To serve the king of kings.

WHO WE ARE

All Souls Men’s Fellowship is an intentional disciple-making fellowship for the men in All Souls Church Lekki. This is a key element to a truly healthy church. The future of All Souls Church is dependent on the next generation of trained, godly men who are spiritually maturing and who will lead All Souls Church now and someday. Fathers and Men in All Souls have a vital role in this process.

The Fellowship is made up men – Married & Unmarried, – leaders who reflect a high commitment to brotherly love, outreach and evangelism in the body of Christ, locally and diocese wide.

ASMF creates an avenue and venture for men who are and want to be devoted to God and willing to live for Him, and believing that we are all called to God’s purpose for our lives…to Experience Christ, to Grow in His Truth, and to Reflect His Love.

We had our first fellowship on 16th January 2016 under the guardianship of the Holy Spirit, inspired by our then Vicar, Venerable Dare Otoki and coordinated by our Sir. Chinedu Ebo.

The fellowship holds every 3rd Saturday of every month. Topics for each month were pre-selected, with resource persons to handle the topics, and moderate the question & answer sessions.

The fellowship is usually a breakfast meeting. Individual members at their own cost, provide breakfast as a way to foster and solidify the bond and love, which is exhibited within and outside the fellowship.

At each fellowship meeting, collection is taken, mainly used to support the management of the fellowship and the propagation of the gospel within and outside the church.

Almost three years running, our fellowship is growing stronger and more robust under our current Vicar, Venerable Oluseyi Pirisola.

Chukwunonso Ugwu and Ayo Awe Jr. currently man our secretariat.

OUR GOAL

To connect men to each other, the church, their families, and the community following the words of God and exercising and demonstrating biblical principles that can be seen and felt through their commitments, actions, and deeds.

Every man wrestles with question about his identity and his legacy and the Gospel is the only place where he can find the answer. Real Deal Manhood is the God-Man Jesus Christ and we experience real manhood only in the redeemed masculinity he won for us on the cross.

The goals of the fellowship is to increase Men:

Coming To Christ, Growing In Christ.
Empower Men to Be Godly Leaders, Godly Teachers, Godly Fathers, Godly Husbands, Godly Mentors.
To Encourage Men to Be Men of Integrity, Men of Godly Intimacy, Men of Godly Identity, Men of Godly Influence.
To Encourage Men to effectively use their 3 T’s to serve the church. (Time, Treasure & Talent).

FELLOWSHIP FOCUS

A Man’s Relationship with Jesus Christ

All Souls Men’s Fellowship looks to inspire worship that glorifies God and engages the heart, mind and souls of men to be a hallmark of the men’s gatherings in the church. All Souls Men’s Fellowship seeks to create a healthy men’s ministry, which is characterized by a spirit of joy expressed in authentic worship (Psalm 100).

A Man’s Relationship with His Family

A man’s relationship with his family reflects his true dependence on God and long-term spiritual influence. Questions for All Souls Men’s Fellowship to ask the men of the Church:

  1. Can you imagine a church without healthy families?
  2. Can you imagine healthy families without healthy marriages (Ephesians 5:25)?
  3. Can you imagine healthy marriages without healthy men?
  4. Can you imagine healthy men without the fundamentals of the Christian faith?

A Man’s Relationship with His Church

God gives all that a man has to him. Men should be willing, in turn, to give to All Souls through their attendance, prayers, service, and financial contributions. Intentional spiritual development of All Souls Church men and the exercise of their spiritual gifts are essential to the health of the church. (1 Peter 5:2).

A Man’s Relationship with the Body of Christ and His Community

All Souls Men’s Fellowship is a self-supporting ministry with programs, men, and leaders who reflect a high commitment to brotherly love, outreach and evangelism, in the body of Christ, locally and in the diocese of Lagos which will set the pace for other All Souls Church activities. Significant spiritual growth of All Soul’s men and the areas of the church growth the fellowship touches is an expected outcome of this commitment.

As men in All Souls, we will reach out to church members, other men, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and others in the community so that this ministry is multiplied (Luke 19:10).
